The current Sword of the Spirit Prayer Group was founded approximately 11 years ago by a group of parishioners for the purpose of praising and thanking God for his many graces and blessings. Another goal was to pray for our parish, our own intentions and those of our loved ones. The original Sword of the Spirit Prayer Group actually began approximately 45 years ago, with Jack & Marge Miller and Pat & Mary Williams as the leaders; Marge continues to belong to our group. Our meetings serve as an important spiritual as well as social part of our lives. We meet on Friday evenings at 7 p.m., and we welcome new members.
